The role supports the Resident Care Director in maintaining residents' physical and emotional well-being and oversees the memory care and assisted living activity areas.

Qualifications

• Two years of college in a health care field or as an activities professional by a recognized body.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Must have the ability to work with technology and maintain the SMILE family engagement/calendar creator platform.

Responsibilities

• Designs and supervises seven-day activity calendar to engage residents.
• Works with the Resident Care Director to serve residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Monitors daily operations of the Sweet Memories Neighborhood and Assisted Living activities.
• Assists in planning and coordinating assessments (UAIs/ISPs) and care plan meetings.
• Manages volunteer program and transportation for outings and medical trips.
• Supervises activity staff and participates in resident move-ins and events.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations and company values.
