Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Program Manager in Monroe, NC to lead the dementia care program across the community, coaching care associates and coordinating resident activities, dining and care. You will work with leadership to plan and deliver person‑centered programs that meet each resident’s needs.

A bachelor’s degree such as gerontology or therapeutic recreation and at least three years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree such as gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with a minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's dementia care program and coach caregivers.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, move‑in/out processes, hiring, and education of associates.
• Plan and coordinate dementia‑friendly programs tailored to each resident’s needs.
