Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English with residents
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Criminal clearance

Responsibilities

• Be an Advocate of Empathy and create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments
• Serve as a Patient Observer to understand residents' interests and abilities and craft engagement plans
• Master the Mise en Scène by organizing the dining room, library, and resident rooms to support daily routines
• Act as a Life Partner, assisting residents with daily activities from wake-up to sleep
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members
