Job summary

HarborChase of Plano is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide daily living support for residents. You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and personal care while maintaining dignity and respect for each resident.

Responsibilities include following Level of Care, responding promptly to calls, and coordinating with supervisors. Prior experience in a senior care setting and a CNA certification are preferred to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid state CNA certification.
• 1–3 years experience in a senior care setting preferred.
• Understanding of Dementia and Alzheimer’s behaviors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with activities of daily living (ADL) assistance.
• Assist residents in meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Follow each resident’s Level of Care and notify supervisor of changes.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and check residents every two hours.
• Escort residents to meals and help with dining room activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and residents’ rooms per supervisor.
• Assist with resident personal laundry and daily routines.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and families.
