Job summary

The Alden Network seeks a dedicated Nurse to support a holistic Memory Care Program for residents with dementia in a Chicago-area setting. You will work to maintain the highest quality of life and deliver person-centered care on the Memory Care Unit.

You will collaborate with Memory Care Aides and CNAs, provide and document individualized care plans, and participate in ongoing dementia care education to enhance resident well-being. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

  • Commit to ongoing dementia care trainings for direct care staff.
  • Ability to implement non-pharmacological interventions for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in oversight of Memory Care Aides and CNAs, including supervision and ADL care.
  • Provide a therapeutic, person-centered memory care activity program.
  • Complete all required documentation and maintain program policies.
  • Encourage family involvement through volunteering and visitation.
  • Provide emotional, caring support to residents and the inter-disciplinary team.
