The Alden Network is seeking a Memory Care Director to lead the holistic, person-centered Memory Care Program on the Memory Care Unit. You will develop and monitor a high-quality program focused on the well-being and life quality of residents with dementia.

The role requires strong leadership, dementia care knowledge, and the ability to guide staff, coordinate care, and engage with families and external professionals to promote memory care services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Alzheimer's/dementias.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience, including time as Activity Director.
• Desire to work with memory care population.
• Training in dementia care.

Aufgaben

• Supervise all staff and volunteers on the unit.
• Coordinate unit schedules with other managers to maintain consistency.
• Obtain at least 12 hours of ongoing education annually for staff on the unit.
• Develop and conduct dementia care trainings and monthly in-service sessions.
• Assist with marketing initiatives for memory care and develop collateral.
