Arrow Senior Living in Columbia, MO is seeking a Memory Care Homemaker for a part-time role (10:00am–6:00pm, Friday and Saturday). The position focuses on creating a warm, homelike environment and assisting residents with daily living in a respectful, compassionate way.

You will join a team that values growth, internal promotions, and supportive benefits; prior caregiving experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at least 8th grade.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Be a Keeper of the Home: create an inviting, homelike, tidy environment in apartments and common spaces.
• Be a Mealtime Maven: assist in family-style dining, guiding residents to participate.
• Be a Snack Specialist: ensure residents have snacks and hydration three times a day.
• Be a Caring Connector: engage residents with meaningful experiences.
