Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Homemaker for a 10:00am–6:00pm schedule at the Barrymore location in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on creating a warm, homelike environment and assisting residents with meals and daily activities.

Qualified candidates will be at least 18, have a high school diploma, be able to read/write English at 8th grade level, and pass a background check. The position offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at least at 8th grade level with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude towards Residents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, including after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a home-like, inviting and tidy atmosphere in memory care for residents and common areas.
• Be present in the dining room to assist with family-style meals and guide residents in participation.
• Ensure residents have access to snacks and hydration three times daily.
• Interact with residents as a Caring Connector to provide meaningful experiences.
