Job summary

Avamere Communities in Newberg, OR is seeking a Part-Time Server for memory care, assisted living, and independent living facilities. You will provide excellent dining service, take orders, serve meals, set up and clear tables, and maintain cleanliness while ensuring residents have a positive meal experience.

The role requires weekend availability and offers wage between $17.45 and $22.77 per hour depending on experience, with benefits eligibility at 30+ hours/week and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering food and beverages to residents.
• Providing attentive and friendly service and checking on residents' needs during meals.
• Setting up dining room before meals and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clearing tables and resetting for next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Answering questions about the menu and dietary needs.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
