Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a part-time Server for a memory care, assisted living, and/or independent living facility in Portland, OR. You will take orders, serve meals, and ensure a positive dining experience while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The role requires excellent customer service and weekend availability. CPR/First Aid certification and a current Food Handlers card are preferred; attendance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and food safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal orders to residents.
• Promptly delivering meals and beverages with attention to presentation.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and address residents' needs during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear and reset tables for the next service and assist with room service orders.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and dietary considerations.
• Interact with residents and guests in a warm, courteous manner.
