Job summary

Aurora Care Management is seeking reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) in Florida to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and support memory care needs in a safe, nurturing environment.

Requirements include Florida CNA or HHA certification and CPR/First Aid; background checks are required; Alzheimer’s training is preferred or to be completed on hire; 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA or HHA certification (required).
• CPR & First Aid Certification (required).
• Level II background screening (or willingness to obtain).
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care training (preferred or must complete upon hire).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living and/or memory care (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Engage memory care residents in meaningful activities and redirection techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Comply with all safety protocols and facility policies.
