Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents in Missouri Memory Care communities. You will administer medications under licensed supervision and assist with daily living activities, creating a safe, home-like environment for memory-impaired residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CMA/Med Level One course with Missouri certification.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision in accordance with Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity before medication administration and document dosage and observations.
• Monitor resident responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Observe, record, and report resident care conditions and intake/output.
• Report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers and participate in teamwork to ensure quality care.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist with tours when needed.
