Americare Senior Living is actively seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support Memory Care residents in our Missouri communities. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a home‑like, safe environment under supervision.

The role emphasizes detailed documentation, resident safety, and teamwork with licensed staff. Training is provided for non‑certified applicants, and opportunities exist for growth within a family‑oriented

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of CMA / Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Accurately observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and food intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours of the community as needed
