Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents in our Memory Care communities in Missouri. You will administer medications and assist with daily living activities under supervision, ensuring safety and dignity for residents.

You’ll join an interdisciplinary team committed to high-quality care, resident comfort, and family support. Training is provided for non-certified applicants, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision in line with Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Record and report resident care and intake/output accurately.
• Recognize changes in condition and notify staff accordingly.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
