Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents in Missouri Memory Care communities. You will administer medications under licensed supervision and assist with daily living activities in a safe, home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with MO certification.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff per Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, and intake/output; flag changes to staff.
• Complete admission, discharge and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers and perform additional duties as needed.
• Housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Greet visitors, answer calls and assist with tours as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification (MO)

Active certification maintained
