Job summary

Avamere in Lebanon, OR is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our full-time team on a day shift (6am-2pm) with a rotating schedule. You will assist with ADLs, provide emotional support, perform light housekeeping, and monitor residents’ health to ensure safety and well-being.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, providing a calm, warm environment for seniors and collaborating with staff to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to medical staff.
