Job summary

Avamere at Newberg is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Newberg, OR. This full-time swing shift (2-10pm) supports residents with daily living activities, safety, and well-being in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include ADLs, emotional support, housekeeping, health monitoring, and timely responses to resident needs. Eligible for attendance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required during employment.
• Food Handler's Card required.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Monitor residents' health and report concerns to staff.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and maintain confidentiality.
