Avamere Court at Keizer is seeking a PRN Caregiver at 5210 River Rd North, Keizer. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, providing companionship, and keeping a safe, clean environment for memory care and assisted living residents.

The position requires CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s Card credentials, plus prior EMR experience. Avamere offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and support with mobility aids.
• Assist with meal preparation, setting up meals, and removing trays.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor residents' health, report concerns to medical staff, and observe vital signs.
• Answer calls for assistance promptly and support orientation for new residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
