Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a full-time Caregiver at Avamere Keizer in Keizer, Oregon. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

• Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
• Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms.

Emotional Support and Companionship:

• Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement.
• Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
