Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Memory Care Activity Assistant to support Clare Bridge dementia care programs and foster resident well-being through person-centered activities. You will assist in planning and leading engaging activities aligned with Brookdale's engagement philosophy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience with older adults, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree preferred.
• Experience with older adults and persons with dementia preferred; or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic PC and word processing skills; familiarity with Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of person-centered dementia programs and assist in engaging residents in seven domains of well-being.
• Review resident service plans and document program activities as required by Brookdale standards.
• Ensure programs comply with state/federal regulations and Brookdale policies.
