Job summary

YMCA of Southern Maine is seeking a Membership Services Representative to build relationships with members and deliver friendly, professional customer service.

Under the supervision of the Membership Director, you will convey the YMCA’s mission, values and brand while handling program registrations, payments and inquiries at the Biddeford location. This role emphasizes inclusion, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with friendly, helpful service in person and by phone.
• Register members into programs and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service while relaying information about programs and events.
• Input data into the software system and keep records up to date.
• Communicate the YMCA mission and core values in daily interactions with members.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Membership Director, the Membership Services Representative builds relationships with members and provide helpful, friendly and professional customer service. They are responsible for ensuring the membership department conveys the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of Southern Maine.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:30PM - 6:30PM
• Wednesday: 2:30PM - 6:30PM
• Friday: 2:30PM - 6:30PM
• Shifts and hours are subject to change.

• Data Tracking & Documentation –Maintains accurate and consistent data tracking and documentation, as required. Registers members into programs including completion of all paperwork, receipt of monies and data input into software system. Manages all monetary transactions accurately including: accepting payments, issuing receipts, providing change and reconciling cash drawer at completion of shift. Processes all membership transactions effectively and accurately.
