Job summary

YMCA of Southern Maine is seeking a part-time Facilities Attendant to help maintain cleanliness and upkeep at our Biddeford facility. You will work under the Facility Director to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff.

Responsibilities include promoting inclusivity, collaborating across teams, building positive relationships with the YMCA community, and maintaining logs and reports. Shifts include early mornings and evenings, with hours subject to change.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow schedules and deadlines for YMCA programs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Extremely reliable, dependable, and punctual; can work independently and within a team.
• Sound decision-making skills; ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
• Capable of basic math calculations including fractions and decimals.
• Possess basic computer skills including email and the internet.
• A criminal background check is required.
• Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation.

This position will work under the direction of the Facility Director to ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of our YMCA facility.

Schedule:

• Fri, Sat, or Sun: 4:00am – 7:00am
• Thurs, Fri, Sat: 8:00pm – 11:00pm
• *Shifts and hours are subject to change.

• Data Tracking & Documentation– Maintainsaccurateand consistent maintenance logs, inventory and completes all necessary paperworkin a timely manner.

• Capable of performing basic math calculations, including fractions and decimals.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Possess basic computer skills including email and the internet.
