Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio of Flatiron is seeking a Membership Sales Associate to elevate guest experiences at two NYC locations (Flatiron and Williamsburg). You’ll greet guests, conduct studio tours, promote sauna therapies, and drive membership and package sales in a commission-based environment.

You’ll work 4–5 shifts weekly (4–8 hours) with some evenings and weekends. Prior customer-facing experience and a passion for health and wellness are essential, with Mindbody a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests in studio and connect on a personal level.
• Administer studio tours, educate guests on sauna/therapy benefits, promote regular sauna use.
• Sell memberships, packages and retail products to reach monthly sales goals in a commission-based environment.
• Make high-energy outbound calls to guests per shift.
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests.
• Multitask by managing bookings, check-ins/outs, membership changes, inventory, and front desk communications.
• Complete daily cleaning duties.
• Handle physical demands: standing, lifting, carrying laundry/towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, you're responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they're maximizing their Perspire experience.

This is a position to work from 2 locations:

• Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
• Perspire Williamsburg: 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

You will be working 4 or 5 shifts per week of 4-8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Membership Sales Associate:

• Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level.

• Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals.
• Proactively make high-energy phone calls per shift to our guests
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests
• Multitask while managing bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
• Complete daily cleaning duties
• Physical demands: standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $19 per hour, paid every 2 weeks plus uncapped commissions on package sales and memberships once renewed
• Pay raise to $20/hour after 90 days, subject to: no unexcused lateness or absences, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, and meeting minimum sales performance metrics.
