Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio of Williamsburg in NYC is seeking a Senior Membership Sales Associate who loves health and wellness. You will greet guests, present studio services, and promote memberships with energy to build lasting relationships and drive engagement across two locations.

The role features a commission-based environment, opportunities for advancement, and a schedule of 5 shifts per week (6–8 hours) including evenings and weekends, with benefits and ongoing coaching.

Job Summary

Are you passionate about health and wellness? Are you naturally confident and outgoing? If so, join the member service team at our upscale sauna studio in NYC! We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, you're responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they're maximizing their Perspire experience.

This is a position to work from 2 locations:

• Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
• Perspire Williamsburg Williamsburg: 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

You will be working 5 shifts per week of 6-8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here's what you'll do as a Senior Membership Sales Associate

• Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level.
• Administer studio tours, educate guests on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy and promote the benefits of regular sauna use
• Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals.
• Proactively make high-energy phone calls per shift to our guests
• Attend nearby community outreach events to promote the studio and sign up new guests
• Multitask while manage bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
• Complete daily cleaning duties

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles
• An innate interest for health, wellness and fitness
• A high degree of confidence and enthusiasm
• A genuine desire to provide exceptional service
• A competitive and goal-oriented nature, driven to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
• Open availability to work consistently on 5 days per week
• Mindbody Software software experience is a plus!

Compensation

• Starting pay of $19/hour, paid every 2 weeks plus uncapped commissions on package and membership sales
• Pay raise to $20/hour after 90 days, subject to: perfect track record of on-time attendance, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, and meeting minimum sales performance metrics.
