Job summary

Perspire Sauna Studio in New York City is seeking a Studio Assistant to join our member service team at two locations: Williamsburg and Flatiron. You will work 3–5 shifts weekly (6–8 hours each), including weekday evenings and weekend hours, delivering excellent guest experiences and maintaining a clean, welcoming studio environment.

Prior housekeeping or customer service helps, with a focus on reliability, attention to detail, and a positive team mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or guest service is a plus.
• Evening and weekend availability required (min. 3 shifts/week).
• Positive attitude and strong attendance history.

Responsibilities

• Work 3–5 shifts per week on weekday evenings or weekend slots.
• Promptly clean sauna rooms and sanitize for next guests.
• Conduct deep cleaning per protocols and restock towels/supplies.
• Assist guests with tours and inquiries; support manager as needed.
• Attend monthly team meetings and help with miscellaneous tasks.

Job Summary

This is a position for a Studio Assistant (what we call our "Spa Attendant" role) at Perspire Sauna Studio in NYC working from two locations: our Williamsburg studio at 191 North 8th Street in Brooklyn, NY and our Flatiron studio located at 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY. You will be working 3 to 5 shifts per week of 6 to 8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here’s what you’ll do as a Studio Assistant

• Work 3 to 5 shifts per week, across our weekday (2-10pm) and weekend (8:30am-2pm, 2pm-8pm) schedule
• Promptly clean a sauna room when the guests exit, ensuring that it is sanitized and prepped for the next appointment
• Conducting regular deep clean activities of the facilities and saunas per the prescribed protocols and schedules
• Conduct towel and cleaning supply inventory upon delivery
• Inspect and fold towels using our prescribed techniques
• Respond to guest inquiries and administer studio tours to new guests
• Attend a mandatory monthly team meeting
• Support Studio Manager and Sales Associates through miscellaneous tasks including minor repairs

• A great attention to detail and cleanliness
• A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
• A verifiable history of excellent attendance
• Evening and weekend availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week
• Prior experience in housekeeping or customer service is a plus!

Compensation

Starting pay of $17.50 per hour with successful training completion. Automatic raise to $18.00 per hour after 3 months, subject to a perfect track record of on-time attendance, professionalism and compliance with company policies and cleaning procedures.
