Job summary

Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys - South Bay is seeking a highly energetic Sales Associate to join our Southbay team, driving revenue through memberships, gift cards, retail products, and services while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You will upsell services, manage POS scheduling, book appointments, greet clients, resolve conflicts, and support shop operations from opening to closing, including inventory and cleanliness, building rapport with clients.

Qualifications

• Strong sales background with focus on memberships and services.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer service oriented.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Zenoti is a plus).
• Ability to build rapport with clients and close sales.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell memberships, gift cards, and retail products.
• Upsell services to increase revenue.
• Schedule client appointments using the POS and manage daily bookings.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Address client conflicts and communicate shop policies clearly.
• Assist owners and staff; support shop operations and cleanliness.
