Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a Membership Director to recruit, develop, and retain client relationships across our clubs. This role drives topline revenue through the full membership lifecycle, proposing the right membership options, and leading the sales team.

Reporting to the Vice President of Membership, the role emphasizes a proactive, customer-focused culture and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance member experience and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Experience applying company policies and regulations.
• Strong sales and marketing skills with a track record in membership growth.
• Knowledge of member experience and how to handle membership changes.
• Ability to anticipate problems and reason deductively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete a full sales cycle from point of inception to final sale and member integration.
• Active recruiting of membership prospects and cultivation of a strong member referral business.
• Execute Club tours and client assessments to determine and promote membership options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership sales tracking and reports using CRM and revenue tracking tools.
• Prompt and professional follow up with members and prospective members in the club.
• Attend special events and activities to provide sales information and tours.
• Support club operational tasks and initiatives as needed.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding overall membership levels, membership mix and revenue goals.
