Job summary

Fitness Connection is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the club's membership sales, develop a high-performing team, and drive daily activity that fuels growth.

You'll coach Fitness Consultants, lead from the front with a hands-on approach, and ensure a member-centric experience while meeting revenue targets.

This role demands energy, relationship-building, and accountability in a fast-paced environment, with commissions and benefits as part of total compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• Prior experience in sales leadership, membership sales, retail sales, hospitality, or another customer-facing leadership role.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tracking systems.
• Willingness to travel locally for promotions, marketing events, and community outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Own membership sales performance, translating monthly goals into daily activity and accountability.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop Fitness Consultants.
• Deliver ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance coaching.
• Build authentic relationships with prospects and members.
• Drive disciplined sales execution through reporting and lead management.
• Support club leadership and operations through Manager-on-Duty coverage.
