Job summary

Ema in Las Vegas seeks a Member Relations Manager to strengthen existing member relationships, recruit new members, coordinate events, and communicate the organization’s value to the construction community. This leadership role reports to the CEO and drives day-to-day membership, events, and communications initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a track record in association management, strong written/verbal communication, and expertise in event planning, marketing, and membership databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of professional experience in membership development, association management, events, marketing, communications, nonprofit organizations, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong event planning and project-management capabilities.
• Experience with membership databases, email marketing platforms, websites, or similar technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Membership Recruitment & Retention: Develop and execute strategies to recruit new contractor and associate members.
• Events & Member Engagement: Plan and coordinate approximately 10 events annually and quarterly lunches, networking events, and the annual gala.
• Marketing & Communications: Develop and execute member communication strategies and create newsletters, social content, emails, and website content.
• Sponsorship & Community Relations: Maintain and enhance the annual sponsorship program and build relationships with sponsors and partners.
• Association & Executive Support: Support CEO with strategic initiatives, board meetings, research, and educational programs.
