SOCMA in Arlington, VA (Crystal City) seeks a Manager of Membership & Engagement to strengthen the member experience, drive onboarding, and oversee day-to-day membership operations in a hybrid work environment.

You will nurture relationships with member contacts and affiliate members, coordinate onboarding, renewals, and programs, and collaborate across teams to boost participation and value of SOCMA membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in membership, customer engagement, or related field.
• Experience with member-based organizations or B2B is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Builds relationships with member contacts and connects members with SOCMA programs, resources, events, and engagement opportunities.
• Leads onboarding and maintains regular touchpoints to ensure strong membership experience and higher participation.
• Monitors engagement, addresses declines, and works with leadership to strengthen retention.
• Serves as a day-to-day resource helping members navigate SOCMA and maximize value.
