Job summary

The Golden Chamber of Commerce in Golden, CO is seeking a Director of Membership for a salaried 32-hour-per-week role (0.8 FTE). You will drive membership growth, renewals, member programming, and event sponsorships while building strong relationships across local partners.

You will lead outreach to members, manage the ambassador program, and coordinate member events, with a hybrid schedule and occasional evenings and weekends. Prior chamber or nonprofit experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related experience in a professional environment with financial and strategic responsibility.
• Experience in chamber or membership organization/association, sales and event planning, and nonprofit knowledge is preferred.
• Professional presence with excellent communication and presentation skills; strong people skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events; fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop membership marketing plan to target new members, expand demographics, increase awareness, and boost revenue for the Chamber.
• Schedule informational meetings with potential chamber partners and members.
• Manage annual membership renewal program and meet yearly revenue goals.
• Oversee onboarding of new members and plan member breakfasts/educational events.
• Assist members in maximizing membership benefits and resources.
• Coordinate member programming (luncheons, meetings, happy hours, Awards, etc.) and attend events as needed.
• Oversee and manage chamber membership database and provide membership reports.
