Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA is seeking a Program Director in Vista Del Monte, California to lead program development and manage staff across branches. You will oversee budgeting, grants, and marketing collaborations while ensuring high safety and compliance standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or related experience, minimum 2+ years in a related field, and specific supervisor qualifications for childcare and aquatics as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in a related field.
• Childcare Program Director must meet Site Supervisor requirements.
• Aquatics Program Director must meet Lifeguard requirements.
• Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Maintain valid CA driver's license and DMV Pull Program participation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial development including budgeting and growth targets.
• Manage financial controls, grants, contracts, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Develop and implement marketing plans for department growth with Marketing.
• Ensure health and safety procedures and risk assessments are performed.
• Supervise staff: hiring, scheduling, coaching, evaluations.
