Job summary

YMCA of Pueblo seeks a Membership Representative to attract and retain members by delivering outstanding service and fostering meaningful connections. You will drive sales, engage prospective members, and ensure seamless experiences for all members.

The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inquiries across channels. On-site duties include promoting programs, tours, and events while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with customer service experience preferred.
• Great communication with diverse populations; strong organization.
• Confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Excellent problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Must have CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process memberships, registrations, and transactions accurately.
• Provide facility tours and promote amenities to drive sign-ups.
• Meet sales and retention goals through proactive outreach.
• Deliver exceptional customer service via in-person, email and phone.
• Track leads from tours, inquiries, referrals, and campaigns.
• Support follow-up systems to increase conversions and engagement.
• Assist in events and promotions to generate interest.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming facility and address member concerns.
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed to keep the facility functional.
