Job summary

One Medical in Darien, CT is seeking a Float Member Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming, on-brand experience and seamless check-in and scheduling.

In this in-office role, you’ll support front desk duties, use our tech tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR), and collaborate with the team to deliver empathetic, patient-centric care across Darien and nearby offices.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to adapt under pressure and take action on challenges.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and online tools.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties including check in/check out and insurance verification.
• Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling and follow-up scheduling.
• Support in-office providers and participate in team problem solving.
• Master technology: Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and 1Life EMR.
• Maintain look and organization of patient and employee spaces.
