Job summary

LaGrange County REMC is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Indiana to be the primary contact for members, handling inquiries, and performing collections procedures. You will process account questions and interact with members to resolve issues.

You will also create service orders, calculate and post payments, and contribute to a smooth billing workflow with opportunities for wage growth based on qualifications and performance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
• Associate degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of electricity and electrical components, billing, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Process member account inquiries and address account questions.
• Interact with members to address inquiries and perform collections procedures.
• Create service orders and calculate/post payments.
