Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year prior office/clerical experience plus minimum of one year prior collection, call center, or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with state and federal laws governing collection procedures preferred.
• Three months to be fully functional in the job.

Responsibilities

• Review delinquency reports and collection system information to determine appropriate collection activity.
• Contact members to discuss delinquency and obtain information to effect collection.
• Suggest extensions and/or payment arrangements to bring due dates current.
• Skip trace difficult-to-locate members and escalate to skip tracing team as needed.
• Review and recommend charge-off accounts with supervision.
