Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Advisor to monitor and maintain assigned accounts, secure delinquency recovery, and protect the Credit Union's assets. You will preserve the Credit Union's funds by collecting delinquent loan payments and reopening or closing accounts as needed, while maintaining accurate records and reports.

In this role, you will collaborate with branch staff to recover funds, close abusive accounts, and coordinate collection activities.

Qualifications

• One to two years of similar or related experience.
• High School diploma, or GED.
• Strong confidentiality and loyalty to members’ financial affairs.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and resolve problems.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers via in person, email, etc.
• Experience multitasking, meeting deadlines, handling sensitive information, and resolving problems while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent accounts by phone and mail to recover funds and coordinate with Card Services.
• Coordinate with management to pursue repossession or foreclosure of collateral and safekeeping of collateral.
• Close abusive checking accounts and remove overdraft privileges.
• Maintain accurate files and reports on all activity and monitor for possible kiting.
• Work with branch personnel to recover overdrawn share accounts.
