Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Advisor to monitor and maintain assigned accounts to meet standards for collection performance. You will preserve the Credit Union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent payments and overdrawn accounts, and recovering collateral.

You will coordinate with branch staff, close abusive checking accounts, maintain repossession records, and report to management.

Qualifications

• One to two years of similar or related experience.
• High School diploma, or GED.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent accounts by phone and mail; work to recover funds on written-off loans using collections tools.
• Coordinate with management to pursue repossession/foreclosure of collateral and maintain repossession records.
• Close abusive checking accounts and remove overdraft privileges; coordinate recovery of overdrawn share accounts with branch personnel.
• Maintain accurate files and reports on all activity and monitor possible kiting situations.
