Job summary

First Credit Union in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Teller to provide exceptional member service across in-person and digital channels. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Multilingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members to the credit union with a friendly, respectful, and professional approach, providing timely, accurate, and efficient service to ensure a positive experience.
• Receive and process share drafts, checks, and cash for deposits into member accounts. Verify amounts, ensure proper endorsement, and accurately enter transactions into system records.
• Cash share drafts/checks, process withdrawals, and disburse funds after verifying member identification and account balances.
• Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services along with comprehensive knowledge on all related policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including robbery procedures.
• Promote, explain, refer, and cross-sell other credit union services such as electronic services, credit and debit cards, accounts, and loans.
• Complete required training curriculum to attain Member Service Representative title within expected time frame.
• Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC.
