Job summary

Consumers Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative to join our Battle Creek and Marshall offices. You will provide exceptional member service, open and maintain accounts, and assist with loan applications and IRA transactions.

The role emphasizes cross-selling financial products and delivering an outstanding member experience. You will work closely with members, diffusing concerns, educating them on online banking and Bill Pay, and supporting a broad range of financial services in

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Home Equity certified is a plus.
Professional appearance, builds rapports with members, and enjoys working with people.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Cash handling and basic math skills.
Knowledge of current technology. Able to easily navigate multiple software environments.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent member service.
Respond to member inquiries in a timely manner and cross-sell products and services.
Open new accounts for members, including IRA accounts, and process related transactions.
Originate loan applications and gather required documents for loan closings.
Maintain business account relationships and perform account maintenance.
Process deposits, withdrawals, and other teller transactions.
Educate members on products and services and assist with online banking tools.
