Consumers Credit Union in Battle Creek and Marshall seeks a Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional member service, open accounts, process loans, and cross-sell products. You will respond to inquiries, educate members on services, and maintain confidentiality across all interactions.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling and the ability to work with multiple software systems, with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to navigate multiple software environments.
• Home Equity certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service.
• Open new accounts and process IRA transactions; demonstrate online banking and Bill Pay to members; handle debit cards and payroll; direct deposit and disbursement requests.
• Originate loan applications and obtain necessary loan documents for closings; document applications before submission.
• Grow relationships through follow-up and CRM entries.
• Establish and maintain business account relationships and perform maintenance.
• Process member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, credit card advances).
• Refer new business account opportunities and meet sales goals.
