Job summary

Staley Credit Union in Decatur, IL, is looking for a friendly Member Services Representative to handle member transactions, answer inquiries, and promote products and services. This full-time role focuses on accuracy, courtesy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service, support account maintenance, process cash, and learn our financial systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months previous experience in banking, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and potential members with financial transactions.
• Provide accurate information about credit union products and services including some of the highest tech banking solutions available.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services to members.
• Assist with account maintenance
• Handle cash and reconcile daily transactions.
• Ensure a positive and professional experience for all members.
• Become a product knowledge expert to help members get more value and convenience out of their financial experience.
