Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Member Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members in a fast-paced branch. You will process daily financial transactions, answer member inquiries, and build lasting relationships through personalized service.

This entry-level role includes comprehensive training and clear opportunities for growth within the organization. Regular shifts are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30 AM–12:30

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Responsibilities

• Process everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, and account questions.
• Provide friendly, personalized service to every member.
• Help identify member needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Resolve account issues and escalate complex concerns when needed.
• Support branch operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
