Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union in Norwich, NY is seeking a Part-time Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional service, handle daily transactions, and uphold security and accuracy. You will greet members, explain products, and route complex inquiries to the right team.

This on-site role requires 30 hours per week, including some Saturdays, with an hourly wage of $18–$19. Applicants should have a high school diploma and customer-service experience; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize member needs and provide excellent service at the front line.
• Guide members to specialized team members for further assistance.
• Complete required training and tests including product knowledge.
• Identify opportunities and recommend products/services to meet members' financial needs.
• Handle cash and transactions accurately following procedures and regulations.
• Verify member identities for secure transactions.
• Provide back-up coverage as needed and support team operations.
• Adapt to changing responsibilities and demonstrate inclusive behavior.
