Job summary

WESTconsin Credit Union is seeking an engaging Member Service role to support our members in daily financial services. The position emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly service, and collaborative teamwork within a community-focused credit union.

The role supports ATM operations, vault duties, and daily cash management, with opportunities to grow into MSR/RMSR positions as needed. A high school diploma or GED and a couple of years in service roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of customer service or cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Recommend products and services to members based on financial needs and goals.
• Collaborate with Office Supervisor for guidance and team development.
• Assist employees with error resolution and resolve member concerns.
• Monitor cash supplies and place weekly cash orders.
• Complete monthly reports including ATM inspections and security checks.
• Serve as vault custodian for ATM, Recycler and cash shipments.
• Step into MSR or MSR II roles as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Takes steps to enhance membership value by actively recommending appropriate products and services to members, based upon their financial needs and goals.Recommends policy and procedure changes and additions to create a fast and efficient loan process.
• Collaborates with Office Supervisor with guidance/feedback, observations, coaching, meetings, and team development
• Assist employees with error resolution - resolve member/employee concerns/discrepancies
• Monitor and manage office cash supplies, including weekly cash orders
• Completes monthly reporting - ATM inspections, end of month drawer reporting, security checks, mutilated cash, etc.
• Act as vault custodian- handling ATM, Recycler machine, and managing cash shipments from Federal Reserve
• Serves as needed in either the MSR or MSR II role as outlined in the MSR and MSR II job descriptions

WhatYou’ll Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or general education degree required
• 2 years of customer service and/or cash handling experience perferred
