Job summary

The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley in Davenport, IA seeks a part-time Member Services Representative to welcome members, answer questions, conduct tours, and assist with memberships and program options.

You will use the YMCA’s operations software for check-ins, registrations, and payments, while delivering outstanding customer service and fostering community connections. CPR/AED/FA training provided; must be 18+ and able to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to answer questions and provide program options with clarity.
• Comfort with handling payments and registrations using software.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly by name and show gratitude for their patronage.
• Ask questions, listen actively, and provide facility tours to help prospective members.
• Build relationships with members and foster connections within the YMCA community.
• Use YMCA operations software for member check-ins, program and membership registrations, and payments.
• Stay knowledgeable about YMCA programs and services to assist members effectively.
• Address membership and safety concerns promptly and appropriately.
