Job summary

Broadview Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Service Associate to welcome members, process transactions, and deepen relationships. You will answer inquiries, promote digital tools, and support branch goals while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work across locations with some lifting. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work at any location and schedule as needed.
• Able to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding member service to new and existing members or visitors.
• Accurately process financial service transactions while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Act as a first line of defense in detecting and reporting fraud or irregular activities.
• Advocate and build member relationships by asking questions and recommending solutions.
• Respond to general member inquiries related to products, lending, etc.
• Resolve member issues in a timely manner and maintain service quality.
• Promote self-service resources and digital channel offerings to members.
• Participate in cross-selling initiatives and campaigns to meet branch goals.
• Seek development opportunities through coaching, mentoring, and training.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
