Job summary

Self-Help Credit Union in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Temporary Member Service Representative/Teller to join our Lenox branch. You will greet members, assess needs, process deposits and withdrawals, and maintain accurate cash handling and teller operations.

You will open new accounts, answer questions about services, promote loan and savings products, and help meet branch growth goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required; you must be able to work evenings and weekends and adapt

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in financial institution or customer service preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships with service excellence.
• Process share deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers.
• Disburse cash and withdrawals.
• Open new membership accounts and ensure accuracy/compliance.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Handle branch self-assessments and outreach activities.
