Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general credit union procedures including cash handling, teller duties, member services and loan processes.
• Education up to the equivalent of a four-year high school education.
• Previous teller or member service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes members and visitors in a professional and timely manner.
• Provides information on membership eligibility, account types, loan products, and other services.
• Communicates information to members via in-person, email, written correspondence, and telephone.
• Handles transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, and certificate transactions.
• Provides information regarding mortgage loans and processes loan applications with rates and terms.
• Contacts members to follow up on loan requests and educates on Loan Protection Products.
• Identifies opportunities to cross-sell credit union products and services based on member needs.
