Job summary

BayPort Credit Union is seeking a member-focused Teller/Member Services Associate to deliver quality service and act as a liaison between members and the credit union.

You will greet members, explain eligibility, accounts, loans, IRAs, and other services, and assist with opening new accounts, processing loan requests, and resolving issues in a timely, professional manner. Strong cash handling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous teller or member service experience required.
• Knowledge of general credit union procedures and operations.
• Ability to adhere to BayPort Credit Union’s core values and provide high-quality member service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and visitors in a professional, timely manner.
• Provide information on membership eligibility, accounts, loans, IRA’s, and other services.
• Process new accounts, loans, IRAs, and certificates; handle transfers and payments.
• Communicate with members in person, by email, and by phone regarding services and policies.
• Assist with loan applications, interview applicants, and explain approvals/denials.
